Mr. Dharambir Kohli
Founded in 1959 by Sh. Dharambir Kohli, a distinguished graduate of Lahore University, Asian Scientific Industries began with a clear vision — to advance science, research, and healthcare in India. From the very beginning, the company has been committed to delivering high-quality, reliable scientific and laboratory solutions to research institutions, healthcare facilities, and industrial sectors.
Under the visionary leadership of Sh. Dharambir Kohli, Asian Scientific Industries focused on developing precise, durable, and practical solutions tailored to the evolving needs of the scientific community. Over the decades, the company has grown steadily, pioneering innovations in mobile testing units, turnkey laboratory projects, cleanroom solutions, laboratory research equipment, blood bank systems, and R&D facilities. Every milestone achieved reflects our founder’s unwavering vision, dedication, and pursuit of excellence.

Mr. Raj Kapil Kohli
Managing Director
In 1976, Shri Raj Kapil Kohli took charge as Managing Director, ushering in a period of growth, product diversification, and national expansion. Under his leadership, a manufacturing plant was established in Delhi, serving major cities including Mumbai and Hyderabad, along with a regional branch in Hyderabad. ASIND also set up Language Labs in over 400 schools, strengthening educational infrastructure nationwide.
Building on this legacy, ASIND has evolved into a trusted manufacturer and supplier of laboratory research equipment, scientific instruments, blood bank equipment, and educational lab setups. We provide reliable, precise, and efficient solutions for research institutions, healthcare facilities, and industries.

At Asian Scientific Industries (ASIND), our mission is to strengthen scientific infrastructure, public health, and research through innovation, precision, and dependable solutions. Since assuming the role of CEO in 2010, I have worked to build on the legacy of Shri Raj Kapil Kohli, expanding ASIND into government turnkey projects and establishing a dedicated manufacturing facility for mobile laboratories.
Over the years, ASIND has delivered transformative solutions nationwide, including Mobile Food Testing Labs, TB Diagnostic Labs, Milk Testing Vans, Mobile Dental Clinics, Water Testing Labs, Blood Collection Units, Mortuary Vehicles, and Emergency Ambulances. Notable turnkey projects such as the CFL Kolkata Microbiology Labs, BSL-III High-Containment TB Labs, and 24 FDA Microbiology Labs across India reflect our commitment to excellence and innovation.
On the global stage, ASIND contributed to CERN’s CMS HGCAL Clean Room Facility, representing India in world-class physics research. Our achievements have been recognized by FSSAI, the Ministry of Health, and Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, who inaugurated 53 Food Safety on Wheels laboratories designed and delivered by ASIND.
